Corrugated Plate

I’m thinking of writing this time with the theme of “corrugated plate.” In essence, this will discuss the differences between the method of cutting while removing exactly one millimeter from the guide and the method of cutting while leaving it. Additionally, it will cover how to best determine the appropriate panel width. The reason why this concept of cutting or not cutting the one millimeter of the guide is incorporated into the hair design process using shapes is related to whether or not to cut through a one-millimeter-deep concave surface formed during a two-centimeter-wide panel operation. The goal is to keep the surface as flat as possible and ensure that the energy of the force lines of the shape is transmitted evenly in both the X-axis and Y-axis directions.

In particular, effectively utilizing the surface tension of a rounded shape often requires addressing this concave issue. However, I define the option of not cutting the one millimeter of the guide or deliberately using a wide panel operation that easily creates larger concave indentations as a possibility in design. This is because it can be useful when we want to define the direction of the hair flow or specify the form we want to establish in the hair design.

One of the materials used when building simple sheds is corrugated plates. These are materials molded into a wavy shape to enhance strength, often made of extremely thin plastic with fiber reinforcement or tin. They have the characteristic of being very strong in the vertical direction, yet they bend easily in the horizontal direction. My interpretation is that cutting the one millimeter of the guide ensures that the strength is evenly distributed in all directions, while not cutting that millimeter concentrates the strength in one direction, making the cross-direction more flexible. The wider the concave, the more likely there will be twisting force in the middle of the panel. So, if you want to create a solid form, it is not ideal to use a wide concave in the vertical direction. However, there are certainly designs where you can enjoy that twist.

Here, we confirm that when panels are gathered and pinched with fingers, the length remains toward the outside, creating a concave at the cut edge. The wider the panel, the more pronounced the gap in the concave becomes. By shaving off one millimeter from the guide while cutting through a two-centimeter-wide panel, you can prevent that concave from forming. With this in mind, we will proceed to the next chapter.

波板というテーマで今回書いてみようと思います。これは結局の所、ガイド一ミリを切りながら進んでいく手法と残しながら切っていく手法ではそれぞれどう違っているのか？それと、適切なパネル幅はどのように設定するのが良い選択か？というお話になると思います。シェイプを使ってのヘアーデザインでこのガイド一ミリを切る切らないという内容が手順の中に組み込まれているその理由は、二センチ幅のパネル操作で出来る一ミリ深度のコンケーブを切りながら進むか否か？という事です。つまり表面をできるだけ平らにして、X軸方向に対してもY軸方向に対しても満遍なくその形の力戦がエネルギーを伝達出来る条件を満たすための作業です。特にラウンドシェイプの表面張力を有効的に使うためにはこの、コンケーブ対策は大切な要素でになる場面は少なくないでしょう。ただ、ここで僕がガイド一ミリを切らない、やわざとコンケーブが大きな窪みを作りやすい幅広のパネル操作をもデザインによってはあり得るという定義にしているのは、そのヘアーデザインでの毛流れの方向性や形を座らせたい鳳凰生を特定したい場合に用いる可能性がある内容だと考えるからです。

簡易的な小屋を作るときに使用される屋根材料の一つに波板というのがあります。至極薄いファイバーの入ったプラスティック素材や、ブリキの素材をナミ状に模って強度を出している素材ですが、縦方向にはとても強度が強い割に横方向にはすごく簡単に曲がってしまうという特性を持っています。私は、このガイド一ミリを切る事で全方向への強度が均一に働くようになるが、一ミリを切らないものの方が一方方向への力が強くなり、クロス側が柔軟になるという解釈を持っています。コンケーブの幅が広ければ広いほど、そのパネルの中間でのヨレの力が生じやすいので、形をしっかり作りたい場合縦方向へ幅広のコンケーブを使うのはあまり好ましい事ではありませんが、それでも、そのよれを楽しむデザインも存在するの確かです。

ここでは指で集めて摘んだパネルは外側に向かって長さが残りコンケーブが切り口に生じている事。そして、それはパネルの幅が広くなればなるほどよりギャップの強いコンケーブに事。二センチ幅のパネルでは一ガイドを一ミリ削り取りなが切り進む事でそのコンケーブが防げる事について確認してして頂いて、次の章に進んで行きます。
