こんにちは皆さん、ブログにたどり着いた皆さん。私は2005年に渡米して、アメリカはサンディエゴの美容室BB Meme Salonを開業、現在二店舗のオーナであり、ヘアスタイリスト、そしてプロフォトグラファー日々活躍中です。このブログでは、私のヘアーデザインのアイデア「Less Distorted Hair Designing」を、「骨格構造と毛流れ補正法」を使って説明していきます。

Antonio Gaudi

1992 Barcelona Olympic was held in Spain. I was so into Baroque artists Rembrandt, Vermeer and especially Antonio Gaudi.

Gaudi’s architectural design looked like those houses in Giburi’s world. Do you remember the animation movie call Naushika?

At first I was very impressed about his idea of community planning besides his design concept. When I was at my friends hair salon, we started to talk about his architectural designing, then we wondered. How those are even built? I run to Kinokuniya, the famous Book chain in this blog. Lol I purchased two books from Antonio Gaudi Architectural designing. One was explanation of his design philosophy. Second book was describing how the core inside the building was built. Kured park was placed in between office residence to bed town, So that people can pass by and get to know each other. Or, roof top of Kasa Mira had a shared park space residence could take a walk with out getting out of the building. Sagrada Familia was design to be huge organ to play lullaby for people in Baruserona. etc…

As much as I’d like to talk about his designing concept, but I need to move on to the core structure I found in the other book I purchased. The way he built his organic line structure was very interesting. He rotated strait iron cores and created a object like Pillar at the palace.

ガウディの建築デザインは、まるでジブリの世界に出てくる家のようでした。アニメ映画『風の谷のナウシカ』を覚えていますか？

ガウディーのコミュニティ計画のアイデアやデザインコンセプトに感銘を受けた私は、友人との美容院を訪ね、彼の建築デザインについて夢中になって話し始めました。友人と私はどうやってそれが実際に建てられているのか疑問に思ってきました。それで、私はこのブログではもう有名な書店「紀伊国屋」へ駆け込みました（笑）。そこでアントニオ・ガウディの建築デザインに関する2冊の本を購入しました。一冊は彼のデザイン哲学の説明、もう一冊は建物内部のコアがどのように作られているかを説明していました。クレウド公園はオフィスと住宅街の間に配置されており、人々が通りながら交流できるようにしていました。また、カサ・ミラの屋上には住民が建物を出ずに散歩できる共有公園スペースがありました。サグラダ・ファミリアはバルセロナの人々のために子守唄を奏でる巨大なオルガンとして設計されていました。などなど…

彼のデザインコンセプトについて語りたい気持ちは山々ですが、もう一冊の本で発見したコア構造に移らなければなりません。彼が有機的なライン構造をどのように作り上げたかは非常に興味深かったです。彼は鉄の直線コアを回転させ、宮殿の柱のようなオブジェを作り上げていました。

The Rotating Iron Core Technique

Gaudí’s method of creating organic lines and structures often involved using rotated iron cores, a technique that defied traditional architectural norms. This process essentially involved twisting straight iron rods into complex shapes, which were then used to form the internal “skeleton” of his buildings. This not only provided the necessary structural support but also allowed the exterior of his buildings to flow in those distinctive, undulating lines that are so iconic to his style.

1. Twisted Pillars and Organic Shapes: By rotating and bending iron rods, Gaudí was able to mimic natural forms, like tree trunks and vines, translating these organic shapes into the framework of his buildings. The twisted pillars found in places like the Sagrada Família or the Casa Batlló are prime examples of this technique. They seem to grow naturally, almost like living organisms, providing both strength and aesthetic harmony.
2. Structural Innovation in La Sagrada Família: In the Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s use of twisted iron cores helped create a sense of upward movement, directing the eye towards the heavens. This is particularly evident in the interior, where the pillars resemble branching trees, supporting the ceiling as though it were a forest canopy. The iron cores within these pillars play a crucial role in distributing weight and maintaining the structural integrity of the building, allowing Gaudí to push the boundaries of conventional architecture.
3. Core Pillars as Dynamic Elements: Gaudí’s pillars were not static; they were designed to interact with the building’s overall aesthetic and function. For example, in the Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the iron cores allowed for a fluid, open floor plan with minimal load-bearing walls. This innovative use of core pillars provided greater flexibility in the interior design and enhanced the building’s organic flow.
4. Nature as a Blueprint: Gaudí’s inspiration often came directly from nature, which he considered the ultimate architect. His twisted iron cores were, in a sense, man-made representations of natural elements like bones, trees, and vines. By rotating and twisting these elements, he was able to replicate the complex patterns found in nature, infusing his structures with a lifelike quality that set them apart from anything else built during his time.

Understanding Distortion and Proportion in Hair Design
