こんにちは皆さん、ブログにたどり着いた皆さん。私は2005年に渡米して、アメリカはサンディエゴの美容室BB Meme Salonを開業、現在二店舗のオーナであり、ヘアスタイリスト、そしてプロフォトグラファー日々活躍中です。このブログでは、私のヘアーデザインのアイデア「Less Distorted Hair Designing」を、「骨格構造と毛流れ補正法」を使って説明していきます。

Nape Corner Point

This point, though unusual as the Nape Center Point, is crucial as one of the main rotation points in my [Less Distorted Hair Designing] method, which features a reversed cone shape. This rotation point allows the hairline to connect smoothly between the point behind the ear and the nape corner. Since this hair design method aims to create upward support force vectors from the bottom to the top, this Nape Center Rotation Point is essential.

I will explain this effect in detail later with specific hair styling procedures, but the key aspect of this reversed cone shape is different from a standalone cone on a flat surface. Hair shafts hang from our skull, which stabilizes the inverted cone shape because the force vector pulls toward the tip of the triangular shape, creating stability. Unlike an ice cream cone placed upside down on a desk, which would fall, this shape remains centered due to the downward force vectors. This concept is also applied in the Sassoon Basic “Inside Out Graduation” technique.

この点は、ネープ部の中心点としてはあまり用いない点ですが、私の「Less Distorted Hair Designing」手法において重要な主要回転点の一つです。この手法では逆円錐形が特徴です。この回転点により、耳の後ろのポイントと頸部の角との間でヘアラインを滑らかに接続することができます。このヘアデザイン手法は、下から上に向かって支持力のベクトルを作成することを目的としているため、この頸部中心回転点は不可欠です。

この効果については、後ほど具体的なヘアスタイリング手順と共に詳しく説明しますが、逆円錐形の重要な点は、平らな面に置かれた単独の円錐とは異なるということです。髪の毛は頭蓋骨から垂れ下がっており、この逆円錐形を安定させるのは、力のベクトルが三角形の先端に引っ張られるためです。この形状は、机の上に逆さに置かれたアイスクリームコーンが倒れるのとは異なり、下向きの力のベクトルにより中心に保たれます。この概念は、サッスーンの基本技法「インサイドアウト・グラデュエーション」にも応用されています。
