こんにちは皆さん、ブログにたどり着いた皆さん。私は2005年に渡米して、アメリカはサンディエゴの美容室BB Meme Salonを開業、現在二店舗のオーナであり、ヘアスタイリスト、そしてプロフォトグラファー日々活躍中です。このブログでは、私のヘアーデザインのアイデア「Less Distorted Hair Designing」を、「骨格構造と毛流れ補正法」を使って説明していきます。

At this point, I understood that a snowboard will head straight down an angled hill if the surface is flat and even. However, on a mogul course, the board’s direction is random, depending on the base you land on. Shortly after landing, I would feel a bounce, followed by a pull in a random direction. To maintain control, I needed to adjust my line using carving techniques, relying on the board’s edges. There were countless possibilities for where I could enter the course. But the difference between moguls and hair is that, unlike snow, hair can be controlled by cutting when nature doesn’t go our way.

Still, it wasn’t easy to figure things out. I didn’t even know where to start

この時点で、私はスノーボードが角度のある斜面を下る際、表面が平坦で均一であればまっすぐ進むことを理解しました。しかし、モーグルコースでは、ボードの進行方向はランディングする場所によってランダムになります。着地した直後に跳ね返され、その後ランダムな方向に引っ張られるのです。コントロールを維持するためには、カービング技術を使ってラインを調整し、ボードのエッジのコントロールに頼る必要がありました。コースに入る場所には無数の可能性がありました。しかし、モーグルと髪の違いは、雪とは異なり、髪は自然の流れがうまくいかないときにカットによってコントロールできるということです。

それでも、私にはまだ詳細を理解するのは簡単ではありませんでした。どこから始めるべきかもわからなかったのです。

Then, an accident happened. I got hit by a car again—for the third time in my life. I truly believe I’m lucky to be alive today. After the crash, I had to go to the hospital regularly for checkups. It wasn’t that I was in pain; I needed to go to secure some insurance money from the case.

For a young man like myself, sitting and waiting for two hours without feeling any pain was just boring. As I waited, I started to look around. A poster on the wall caught my eye. It was an anatomical drawing of the human head. The illustration captivated me, particularly the details about the different parts of the head. I stared at it for a while but eventually grew tired and looked away. When I glanced back, my gaze settled on the back of an older man’s head in the waiting room. He was bald on top. Then I looked back at the poster. Wow! There was a reason for the bumps and dents on our heads—bone placements, muscle attachments, air pockets that help us hear, and more.
